Historic site and monument
Saint May
Description
The village is grouped like a cradle leaning against the keep of the ancient castle, which serves as a cemetery and is accessed via narrow streets and staircases.
The new 19th-century church, dedicated to Saint Marius, faces the old one, now converted into a community hall.
At the entrance to the village, the road begins, leading to the Saint Laurent plateau and the ancient 6th-century Bodon Abbey, of which a few vestiges remain in a private property and a chapel erected on the site of the monks' refectory.
