Influenced by its climate, La Chapelle en Vercors has chosen "mountain perennials" as its theme. These herbaceous plants can survive wide variations in temperature. Sometimes disappearing completely in winter, they come back to life in spring.
Take a stroll through the village, discovering the various flowerbeds in different locations...
Among the vast number of species and the diversity of colors, depending on their size and requirements, you'll discover that they line embankments, dress rock gardens, play with light and shade and transform the smallest corner of the garden. A group of volunteers from the "Lou Vioulé" association became the Drôme Botanical Village in 2012, and have been working there since 2009.
