Verticale des Aiguilles

A vertiginous route for lovers of technical challenges and 360° panoramas.

You'll have just 700 metres to warm up on a gentle slope before the hard climb up to Les Aiguilles. It's a steep climb, with a lull at the Col d'Enclus, before setting off again with a vengeance. On arrival, on the plateau, the view of the Caire rock is already worth the detour. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of vultures in the air. And for the more adventurous, you can continue to the summit of Les Aiguilles via the cabled passage for a 360° panorama (follow circuit no. 10).
