Kim Marchal, creator of the Verre Kobalt workshop, is based at the Usine de Poët Laval. Working in glass to create custom stained glass windows, she is also developing a collection of lights and mobiles that play with the subtle material of light and the color it diffuses.
Nourished by the traditional techniques of stained glass restoration, her work combines this heritage with a style that is always defined by the place, the light and the people who will surround the stained glass. The studio favors the use of blown glass, on which enamels and grisailles can be applied if the project so requires.
Its restoration experience enables it to work on stained glass restoration projects throughout France.
On request, the workshop offers courses and workshops in stained glass and glass painting at l'Usine, and welcomes you by appointment at any time to its studio to present its work and the various stages in the creation of a stained glass window.
