Description
The Jardin Sévigné was created to mark the tercentenary of the death of the Marquise de Sévigné. This mini labyrinth of greenery takes the name "SEVIGNE" in Latin calligraphy.
Commissioned from Grignan-born artist Françoise Vergier in 1996, it was installed 3 years later.
Originally planted with boxwood, it has been planted with tin laurel for several years now (this tree has no predators or pests, unlike boxwood).
