Sentier d'interprétation du karst
Grandiose, spectacular, wild, the Font d'Urle mountain pasture is a place of space, surprises and stories. The karst trail allows you to venture out with confidence, to get to grips with the relief and soak up the stories of the plateau.
Easy level, but chaotic terrain with occasional real, unprotected hazards (cliffs, wells, etc.). Take care not to venture out on this route in fog. Departure point: in front of the Hôtel des Dryades You will follow a signposted path with numbered markers. 1/ La Glaciaire: an icy shelter that has long intrigued visitors with its "mysterious" presence of ice, even in summer. 2/The chaos of the unorganized landscape: a natural sinkhole. 3/ The cave, a makeshift shelter. 4/ The ruins of an abandoned art gallery. 5/ The cliff, overlooking the Quint valley and the Diois region. 6/ Crevasses or fissures 7/ The mountain pasture, home to the shepherd. 8/Le scialet and its string of dolines 9/ Lapiaz, labyrinthine architecture 10/ The ski resort A must-have : The educational guide booklet available from Tourist Offices. Good to know: Dogs are forbidden even on a lead from June 1 to October 31.
