Description

Right by the ruins of the medieval castle in the former presbytery (18th century), Rochechinard created the Museum of Royans in 1979 Lifestyle and Tradition. Memory of the soil, heritage and customs, this museum tour takes us through 19th century Royans.

Evidence of a self-sufficient lifestyle, most of these objects disappeared from everyday life with the arrival of electricity in homes.

A place of culture and history that connects the past to the present, the Maison Musée is also an art center, hosting an annual exhibition as well as numerous cultural events.
