Lyonne - L'Hermitage Saint Jean

We love this gîte for its view over the river and its secluded terrace, where you can still enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the estate.

Located on the ground floor of a building that also houses an 8-person gîte on the first floor and a 2-person gîte on the first floor, the LYONNE gîte offers a peaceful setting overlooking the river. A true haven of relaxation, lulled by the murmur of the water. Access to the gîte is via a footpath (15m) and 2 steps down.

It has two comfortable bedrooms: AURORE with a double bed (1x160) and DUNE with two single beds or a double bed (2x80 or 1x160). The living room features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, sofa, armchair and TV. A shower room (Italian shower) and WC complete the accommodation. All living areas are air-conditioned.

Secure access to the river (fence and gate). An unsecured canal (approx. 30 cm deep) and pond (approx. 50 cm deep) cross the property, children to be supervised.
Access to a shared washing machine for a minimum stay of one week. Between mountains and countryside, this gîte is located on the garden level of a building that was a maternity hospital in the 30s, then a hotel. The setting is peaceful and verdant, with the river flowing at the foot of the garden.
On site, everything is in place for an unforgettable stay: a large garden planted with trees, a sunny terrace, a pétanque court, a brazier for convivial evenings, and direct access to the river for a swim or a moment of idleness with your feet in the water. The gîte shares the estate with two other lodgings, encouraging exchanges and a warm atmosphere without disturbing the peace and quiet of each guest.

In the surrounding area, there's no shortage of activities: hiking in the Vercors, the Choranche and Thaïs caves, mid-mountain villages, via ferrata, mountain biking, swimming, climbing... and, of course, tasting the famous Royans ravioles and other local produce. In summer, concerts, markets and exhibitions bring the village to life, making for a lively and rejuvenating stay.
