Les Raisins

Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, with its lovely musical name, is a 'large' village built in elevated position, easily seen from far off, overlooking rich wine-growing estates. In Les Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature park, an area that is partly Alpine, partly Provençal, with lots of outdoor activities: walking/hiking, cycling (the famous Mont-Ventoux), rock climbing at Buis-les-Baronnies (15 min.), etc. If you prefer tourist/cultural attractions be sure to visit the Crocodile farm, Château of Grignan or Roman archaeological site at Vaison-la-Romaine (15 min.), many Provençal markets, like that held in Nyons (10 min.).
