Le Paille-en-Queue

This renovated gîte in an old farmhouse is located between St Thomas and St Jean en Royans, and is the ideal place for a few days out exploring the Royans-Vercors region. Hiking and mountain-biking trails in the immediate vicinity of the gîte. 3kms from the gîte: restaurants, supermarket, grocery store, medical center, electric hook-up point... Nearby: grotte de Thaïs, paddle-steamer, water museum and hanging houses in Pont en Royans, grotte de Choranche, cirque du Bournillon, medieval village of Saint Antoine l'Abbaye... The Font d'Urle ski resort and the Nordic area of Herbouilly are 40min from the gîte. The Col du Rousset is 45 minutes away, as is Corrençon-en-Vercors. Between Drôme and Isère, you'll be in the Vercors Regional Nature Park, less than 1h from Grenoble, 1h30 from Lyon and 30min from Valence TGV station.

Apartment adjoining a future gîte (work in progress), with owners living on site. Separate entrance, on-site parking and enclosed grounds. Access to accommodation via 3 steps and small path to private terrace (garden furniture, parasol, charcoal barbecue). Entrance to the living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa, TV and wood-burning stove. One bedroom with a double bed (1x160) and a second bedroom with two single beds (2x90). Both have velux windows and storage space. Shower room (Italian shower with curtain, washbasin, heated towel rail) and separate toilet (sanibroyeur). The facade of the gîte has not yet been redone, but will be at the same time as the facade of the second gîte, currently under construction.
