Description
Le Grand Café des Cordeliers is a tribute to the old café that stood here (closed in 1985). We transformed the old counter into a central island and collected some of the place’s objects for decoration.
The Grand Café des Cordeliers is an unusual accommodation unique in its kind in the heart of the historic center of Romans.
The Grand Café has two bedrooms, 1 double bed and 2 single beds. A bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. A kitchen equipped with a fridge, hob, microwave oven and dishes, coffee pods and a Nespresso coffee machine are at your disposal. A TV with Wifi are available free of charge. Parking at 200m Place Jules Nadi. Bed linen and towels provided.
BedinShop is an ESS company, our goal is to contribute to the revitalization of our beautiful historic center by transforming abandoned shops into tourist accommodations. Part of the decor is based on "upcycling" objects. 1% of our turnover is donated to "1%fortheplanet".
Our project is ecological, social, and aesthetic. your presence helps us to realize it

Sustainable tourism :
Sustainability is one of the values of the Bed in Shop concept: we recycle, we transform, we re-use. In other words, our accommodation is conceived and designed in the spirit of the circular economy. We also include local residents in our approach: some of the furniture is made by local young people in leisure projects run in partnership with street educators.
What's more, as a "1% for the Planet member", we are committed to donating 1% of our sales to non-profit environmental associations.
Passionate about travel, history and my city, I invented "BedinShop", an innovative concept for revitalizing my region. My aim is to provide you with a meaningful experience that directly contributes to the development of the historic center of Romans-sur-Isère. Together, let's dream differently!
