La Truite du Vercors

The "La Truite du Vercors" fishing and fish farming association helps to protect and manage the aquatic environments of the Vercors by monitoring fish populations. It organizes awareness-raising activities and introductions to fishing.

La Truite du Vercors practices fish farming: a specialization of aquaculture, it refers to the rearing of fish in a natural environment or in artificial basins, intended for consumption.
Fish farming allows you to minimize the intensive fishing that affects many fish species. In fact, by covering part of consumers' needs through fish farming, the need to catch wild fish is reduced.
