The monumental TGV viaduct offers a striking contrast to the old village perched on its rocky peak. The medieval rampart has preserved its surrounding wall and six semi-cylindrical towers.
This fief, drawn as a fusing mosaic on a rocky ridge, must have seemed discouraging to more than one of its attackers ! Its ramparts flanked with six semi-cylindrical towers house the church dedicated to Saint Jacques and Saint Christophe, which could date from 1549, and whose renovated facades let magnificent stones appear. The wash house at the entrance of the village is, with the calades and terrasses, one of the charms that makes us remember the time of the laundresses
