The villa is located approximately 0.7km from the very typical medieval village of Taulignan, itself located 5km from Grignan, famous for its architecture, its small streets, its castle, the Marquise de Sévigné who lived there for a few years, and its numerous cultural events.
The villa is independent without nuisance, a haven of peace in the heart of the truffle oaks.
Elegantly furnished, very bright, you will feel at home there.
The master suite has a clear view of the large 6500m² plot of land and the swimming pool.
Independent, but not completely isolated, you can walk to the village, especially on Friday morning, market day.
In the evening, on the shaded terrace, you will have a view of the sunset and the hills as far as the eye can see.
Fancy a little digestive stroll... you can leave directly from the house and enjoy the small paths in the scrubland. And if you are more courageous, a short round trip on foot (or by bike) to Grignan (approximately 2 x 5 km)
In summer, the swimming pool will be a source of freshness. You will swim with a perfectly clear view.
Between two dives, you can lounge in the sun on the large terrace or in the shade of the poolhouse and nearby trees.
When it comes to visiting, you will be spoiled for choice. Many small Provençal villages will be an excuse for a visit oriented towards “culture”, “history” or “arts”… or quite simply for a little rest on the terrace of a café.
In fact, all these villages, including Taulignan, have been able to offer multiple attractions or restaurants to please as many people as possible.
On Sunday morning, if you are early, you can enjoy the Provençal market in Nyons (15km). Many typical products from the region, full of smell and a great atmosphere.
Of course, the historic cities of Orange and Avignon will also be worth a detour.
Orange with its triumphal arch and its ancient theater… impressive!
Avignon, European capital of culture,…. The list of its attractions would be too long!
