Immense forest extending to over 3000 hectares, well-provided with forestry roads offering numerous walks and, possibly, around the next corner, the sight of large wild animals : chamois, deer, stags, mouflon sheep and wild boar.
In this prestigious forest on the Lente mountain, you may well find the Bronzé Fir, a fir of exceptional age and size that grows among majestic beeches and sycamore maples. This forest, once used for charcoal-burning and the manufacture of masts for the navy, is now home to a few wolves who recently returned from Italy. The reason they chose to stop here is that this wild area is home to 5 types of ungulate (chamois, mouflon, red deer, roe deer and wild boar), a delicacy for these predators.
Along the way, you'll expect to see one of them emerge from behind the beech trees...but only the luckiest will get the chance.
