Renovated gîte in a former silkworm nursery, semi-detached, independent entrance. The entrance is via a small garden enclosed by a low wall and hedges (2 steps).
Ground floor: entrance hall, fitted kitchen (made-to-measure in Provencal style), living room with dining area and TV lounge area, direct access to terrace. Separate WC.
1st floor (somewhat narrow staircase): two bedrooms with high ceilings, the first with a double bed (1x160x200) and the second with two single beds that can form a double bed (2x90 or 1x180 x190), mosquito netting on windows.
Private, shaded terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs.
One parking space in the condominium, secure bike shelter on request. Public parking in the village, 10 m away. You'll appreciate the calm of this former silkworm nursery, renovated into a warm and comfortable gîte, in the shade of century-old fir trees. The gîte is located in the heart of a lively village that has preserved its small shops (bakery, butcher's shop, cookie factory, newsagents, bistros...). Taulignan is a fortified village with 14th-century ramparts, a church, numerous chapels and a Protestant temple. Visit the silk museum (closed out of season).

You'll appreciate the rich architectural and cultural heritage, vineyards and panoramic views that Drôme Provençale has to offer! Nyons and its typical market are a 20-minute drive away. To cool off in summer, the Grignan swimming pool is less than 10 minutes away.

Cécile and Noël, the owners, also have a charming guest house just outside the village (2kms).
