Domaine Serre Besson

Located on a hillside less than a kilometer from the village of Vinsobres, Domaine Serre Besson covers four hectares. It is bordered by two ravines, irrigated by several natural springs, and protected from the excesses of the Mistral wind by a wood on the north side. The terroir is a blend of clay, limestone, sand and river pebbles.

It comprises an old building, now renovated, surrounded by terraced, south-facing vines: Syrah on the higher slopes, bordering the wood, Grenache, Viognier, Cinsault and Mourvèdre on the lower terraces.

Since acquiring the estate in 2011, we have revitalized the vineyard, replanted where necessary and trellised, before rebuilding the winery in 2016.
