A very quiet spot at the end of the driveway, with an unobstructed panoramic view that's hard to get away from. The gîte des Marais is laid out on one level as follows: the front door opens onto the living room, which includes a kitchenette and a sitting area with sofa bed (for extra sleeping space only), TV, board games and a well-stocked library. The south-facing bedroom has a 140x190 bed, shutters, curtain and mosquito net. Shower room with washing machine. Separate WC. Outside: garden with trees and flowers, private parking, garden furniture with barbecue. You'll appreciate the peace and quiet, and thanks to the Mediterranean micro-climate, you won't miss the opportunity to enjoy your meals and relax in the garden. Summer or winter, for short breaks or long stays, we welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Just 15 minutes from Crest and 5 minutes east of the charming village of Saoû, you'll appreciate our location on the border between the Drôme Valley, the Diois and the Drôme Provençale. You'll be just a stone's throw away from such must-see sites as the Saoû syncline, its forest, hiking and climbing trails, the Couspeau mountain and the 3 Becs massif. But also medieval hilltop villages, Dieulefit, home to potters and ceramists, summer markets with local delicacies and know-how, swimming and canoeing in the Drôme... In the village: bakery, grocery store, delicatessen, restaurants, art stores, tourist office. Market every Saturday morning and Wednesday evenings from April to September. Festivities in July: the Saoû chante Mozart festival and the picodon festival. Autumn: winter fruit fair.
