Chez Suzanne

Chez Suzanne is an independent, single-storey cottage set in a renovated barn. With its vintage spirit, it's a simple, warm, welcoming and functional gîte.

It measures 55 m2 and is composed as follows:
- 1 living room with kitchenette and sitting area
- 1 bedroom with double bed 140x190 cm
- 1 sleeping area with 90x190 cm bunk beds (for children)
- 1 bathroom with walk-in shower
- 1 separate toilet
- 1 small laundry room with washing machine

The gîte has its own parking space. The house is independent and located near the owners' house.
Bed linen and towels provided. Beds made up on arrival. Bicycles can be accommodated. Outdoors under development (large plot).
The village offers 2 bakeries and a restaurant 1 km away. Two supermarkets less than 3 km away. Markets are held several times a week in neighboring towns.

Saint-Thomas en Royans is an attractive gateway to the Royans-Vercors region (part of the Vercors Regional Nature Park), and offers a wide range of hiking and mountain-biking trails from the river to the hills, some of which start from the gîte. The view of 3 emblematic Vercors sites is magnificent: Le cirque de Combe Laval, Les Gorges de la Bourne, Les Goulets.
The gîte is located 2 steps from the Bourne river, which is very pleasant in summer and forms a natural border between the Drôme and Isère departments.
Numerous places of interest and activities are within easy reach of the gîte (less than 10 minutes):
- Pont en Royans and its hanging houses
- Saint Nazaire en Royans, its aqueduct, the paddle steamer, the Thaïs cave...
And a little further afield, about 30-40 minutes away:
- Saint-Antoine abbey, Romans and its shoe museum, Vassieux en Vercors and its resistance museum.
- Access to the Vercors plateau with its summer activities and winter resorts (Font d'Urle, Col de Rousset, Herbouilly, Villard de Lans, Autrans-Méaudre...).
- The Choranche cave
And don't forget to discover the local gastronomy, with its ravioles, walnut specialities and cheeses...
