Auberge La Ruche

La Ruche–the hostel that connects people–is located in the town centre, next to the cycle path and the river. It has 14 beds and is open all year round, offering overnight stays, with a focus on groups and long-term stays. It is a third place for learning and culture.

When you stay at La Ruche, you'll come across members of the Alvéoles team, permaculture students, cooks, interns and, of course, travelers!
You can choose between an 8-person dormitory, a 4-person dormitory or a double room. Each bed can be closed with a curtain and has its own private lamp with 2 sockets. So you can rest in your own cocoon-like bubble, or take part in the life of the collective!
We provide fitted sheets and pillowcases. You can bring your own comforter or rent one on site.
In each dormitory, your precious belongings will be safe in lockers, which you can buy on site if you don't have any.
You can prepare your own meals in a fully equipped kitchen, and eat or stroll in the garden.
Our professional kitchen can accommodate cooks, bakers and caterers who rent the room by the day, or workshops on wild cuisine and healthy eating.
Our multi-purpose room is the hostel's living room, except when it's used for training courses, conferences, knowledge-sharing workshops or cultural events.
It's mainly in the Foyer that the honey is created... between the kitchen and the dining room... through encounters, discussions and the bonds that are forged... the Hive ecosystem takes shape and each bee has its place and its role to play.
