Association "La Drôme à Cheval"

The brainchild of a group of Drôme riders and supported by the Conseil Général de la Drôme, Drôme à Cheval promotes equestrian tourism in a department boasting 2,500 kilometers of marked trails.

For more than 30 years, it has been helping people discover a region at the crossroads of the Alps and Provence, and making it one of the most popular destinations for outdoor horseback riders.

La Drôme à Cheval brings together some one hundred riding schools and accommodation professionals in the department.

In collaboration with the Conseil Général and the Agence Départementale du Tourisme, it organizes trail marking, promotes its members and informs riders about routes and accommodation facilities.

Itineraries, descriptions of relais, gites d'étape and chambres d'hôtes, and a directory of equestrian centers specializing in guided rides and hikes are available on this site and from the association's secretariat, to help you make your choice and guide you in preparing and organizing your stay with family or friends.

Since 2014, La Drôme à Cheval has been affiliated to the FFE.
