Andarta - Excursions, walks and cultural visits

Local association promoting our heritage, we offer outings and themed excursions, for a genuine and friendly experience including many unusual visits around the Drôme valley. Our outings are enhanced by guides, lecturers and storytellers.

Explore our region with a difference, thanks to a local association, for a day or a week-long package. Varied programs explore our historical and natural heritage, in small groups, using carpooling or aboard the association's minibus. From the Vercors to the Baronnies, and throughout the Dauphiné region, we will unveil all the secrets of the Tower of Crest (the tallest keep in France), the ancient Gallo-Roman city of Die (Mosaic of the Four Rivers), the Saoû Mountain and Forest (within the highest perched syncline in Europe), the Promontory Castle of Grignan (linked to the Marquise de Sévigné), the International Shoe Museum in Romans, or the breathtaking roads of the Vercors, just to name a few sites... Our excursions can also include tastings of local specialties / walks focusing on our traditions / classes in medicinal and aromatic herbs / craft workshops on how to make your own biscuits, nougat, herbal tea bags, (and more) / musical and dance evenings / events like the Picodon or the Transhumance festivals / stories and legends from our folklore / lavender distilleries, olive oil mills, craft breweries, working farms, and so much more… Our day outings are designed to offer the most memorable and friendly experience of the Drome.
