The Gaudissart hang-gliding area takes off!
Don't be surprised if you see plenty of paragliders in the skies over Saint
Jean at the end of June. The Gaudissart hang-gliding area is officially
officially open!
Cliff launch pad suitable for hang gliders.
Take-off for paragliders in their breaking-in period.
Restrictions on use:
From this launch, paragliders can choose between two landings: the airfield landing and the South landing (give priority to the South landing if you are experienced).
Hang gliders will land on the airfield runway.
- The AERODROME landing is to be used with caution, as it crosses the path of aircraft and certain areas are no-fly zones. It is important to check the site sheet (https://intranet.ffvl.fr/terrain/1436) and follow the instructions.
- The South landing is brand new, and is also in its breaking-in period. See the site description (https://intranet.ffvl.fr/terrain/1433) to avoid diplomatic impairs with the owner (lines on approach, hamlets not to be flown over, parking at the swimming pool only).

Please refer to the information sheet for the airfield, whose approach must be scrupulously respected https://intranet.ffvl.fr/terrain/1436
