Escalade dans la Drôme

Via Ferrata dans la Drôme

CLIMBING

the Drôme proposes approximately forty sites of exceptional beauty: Omblèze with its gorges in the Natural Regional Park of the Vercors. Saou on the edge of a fabulous forest with the same name, les sites around Buis-les-Baronnies nestled behind the Ventoux mountain, between olive groves and linden trees… the choice of climbs available and the range of difficulty will satisfy both families and the most adventurous of sports people.

VIA FERRATA

This is an excellent way to safely climb cliff walls which would otherwise only be accessible to real mountaineers. The routes are “equipped” with metal elements and are called “via attrezzata” which for simplification are called “via ferrata”. A short track leads to the sites where elements are fixed to the rock, enabling a good climber to safely tackle seemingly impossible cliff walls and pass along vertiginous passages.

VIA CORDA
Alpine route with a horizontal traverse protected with a rope and using alpine mountaineering techniques.
