The history of lavender, of the former “baïassières” to today’s meticulous cultivation, punctuates the seasons and the lives of the people of this region while constituting a heritage which still holds riches to explore. Thus, reaching back for over a century, cultivation of this aromatic plant, has developed through man’s ingenuity and is today supported by high level scientific research.
